I remember my early days of flattening pennies on railroad tracks near my rural home in central Ohio. Good times!

Electricity down; doesn't sound good for the couple in the capsule. And, I thought Toffler was having a change of heart. Maybe we'll learn more this weekend.

This paragraph is superfluous. It took me away from being involved in the moment:

The practice of using any kind of physical currency, particularly metal coins, had fallen out of favor long enough that both of the kids considered this round metal piece to be more of a curiosity than a financial windfall, and an idea occurred to the boy holding the entiny treasure.
